Our history

Founded by Jean-Marie Cuoq, a professional forester, Cuoq Forest Diffusion is built on more than forty years of field experience. Starting in 1984, Jean-Marie Cuoq began his forestry work with manual felling before investing in his first harvester in 1990. As his operations gradually mechanized, he assembled over the years a team of specialized operators and technicians, reaching sixteen operators by 2010.

In 2005, to ensure the servicing and repair of his own fleet of machines, he created an in-house workshop. The team’s reliability and professionalism quickly led many forestry contractors to entrust their equipment maintenance and repairs to this workshop. This activity provided the company with in‑depth technical expertise across most brands of forestry machinery available in France.

Cuoq Forest Diffusion

In 2016, this field expertise took shape with the creation of Cuoq Forest Diffusion, a company dedicated to the sale of new and used forestry equipment.

CFD played a key role in introducing and firmly establishing the Eco Log brand in France. Over time, the company expanded its offerings by representing reputable brands such as TCi (Tigercat), Log Max, Ecoforst and Hultdins.

Cuoq Forest Diffusion is also a ParkerStore, an official Parker center offering a wide range of hydraulic components and solutions with immediate availability and specialized technical support.

Modern Facilities Serving Forestry Professionals

The headquarters, located in Saint‑Pal‑de‑Mons, features modern and specialized workshops:

• A welding area of over 200 m²,
• A 450 m² building dedicated to repairs and maintenance, equipped with two overhead cranes,
• A second 450 m² building housing a large three‑level parts inventory and a customer-accessible store.

Strengthened Presence in the North‑East

At the end of 2025, Cuoq Forest Diffusion will continue its development with the acquisition of a facility in Moselle, enabling the company to better support forestry contractors and operators in the Grand Est region and Belgium.
