The TCi 822E cab has seen significant improvements in operator comfort and convenience. TCi cabs provide an exceptionally strong, quiet and comfortable workspace. The new parallel-action air suspension seat is wider than before for more comfort. The fully adjustable backrest reclines. It has angle and extension adjustment, as well as lumbar support. Integrated heating and ventilation ensure operator comfort, whatever the weather. There are plenty of storage spaces.

The engine of the 822E is a 6.7 litre, Stage V TCi FPT N67 6-cylinder. Powerful, quiet and reliable, the engine has been developed to deliver matched power, quick response, low fuel consumption and low running cost. The machine has a hot shutdown feature allowing the turbocharger to cool sufficiently before engine shutdown, thus increasing the life of the turbo.

Hydraulic connections, lines and hoses are protected along the full length of the TCi F27ER crane – 8.2m reach. As with all TCi harvesters, the cranes have the ER (Energy Recovery) system which allows the operator to extend and retract the crane horizontally, smoothly and quickly using a single joystick. The ER system helps reduce fuel consumption and operator fatigue, thereby increasing production.

In its version without leveling, the TCi 822 has a chain length in contact with the ground of 3.80m. The TCi 822 is available with either a D6 R6152 undercarriage or a D7 R7150 undercarriage.

In its trim version, the TCi L822 has a track length at ground contact of 4.14m. The TCi L822 is only available with a D7 R7163L-N undercarriage.

The 822 and L822 can be delivered with 61 cm or 71 cm wide tiles. In its European configuration the machine is below 3m.

The TCi 822 feller buncher is available with a trim system, in this case it is called the L822. This makes it possible to work in very uneven operating areas. The system uses two massive, streamlined heavy-gauge steel hydraulic cylinders for a simple yet strong solution. The maximum attitude correction is 26° forward and 7° rearward. Lateral correction is ± 22°.
